Kereta yang mereka naiki bersama ketika itu dipandu oleh sepupu Ramlah yang bernamaHamdan Harun.Mereka bertiga dalam perjalanan untuk keluar makan apabila kemalangan itu berlaku di Jalan Damansara, Kuala Lumpur pada pukul 11.30 malam. Akibat kemalangan tersebut, Azmeer yang duduk di kerusi penumpang bahagian depan cedera serius di bahagian muka dan mata kanannya dimasuki kaca, manakala Ramlah dan Hamdan sekadar cedera ringan. Azmeer dibawa ke wad kecemasan Hospital Universiti pada pukul 12.33 tengah malam. “Menurut keterangan yang dikeluarkan oleh Pengarah Hospital Universiti, Dr. Gurmukh Singh, bahagian muka Azmeer dipenuhi kaca ketika dibawa ke wad kecemasan hospital tersebut”. Pada awal pagi 20 Jun itu Azmeer terus menjalani pembedahanpertama yang tamat pada pukul 3.30 pagi. Pada petang hari yang sama keluarga Azmeer yang berasal dari Singapura telah mendapat kebenaran daripada Hospital Universiti untuk memindahkan Azmeer ke Hospital Besar Singapura. Azmeer dibawa keluar dari Hospital Universiti dengan kawalan rapi oleh ahli keluarganya yang menghalang para jurugambar daripada merakamkan wajah Azmeer secara dekat. Untuk pengetahuan, kemalangan tersebut bukanlah yang pertama buat Azmeer kerana beliau “pernah terlibat dalam satu kemalangan hingga mengakibatkan tangan kirinya cacat”
